Programs - TVET Courses offered in Girlstown


Bookkeeping NC III
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the students to lead workplace communication, lead small teams, develop and practice negotiation skills, solve workplace problem related to work activities, use mathematical concepts and techniques, use relevant technologies, maintain an effective relationship with clients / customers, manage own performance,  apply quality standards, perform computer operations. It includes  core competencies such as journalize transactions, post transactions, prepare trial balance, prepare financial reports, and review internal control system.
Computer Hardware Servicing NC II


This course provides students with an overview of the core aspects of Computer Hardware Servicing including computer hardware, computer networks, operating systems and application software. The focus of this course is to define how trainees relate to and interact with each other. Upon completion of this course, students will have the knowledge necessary for further study in college as well as understand the impact of technology in society and organizations of all types. 

Computer-Aided Drafting and Design / Building Information Modeling NC II
This program is specifically designed to comply with the burgeoning breakthrough in computer-based technical drawing technology. It will guide the trainees on familiarizing AutoCAD not limited on its user interface and tools but also on harnessing the software as a medium on creating drawings and designs on different technical fields such as mechanical, civil, architecture, electrical, electronics, etc.

Building Information Modeling provides a comprehensive approach on building design. It will guide the trainees to develop their skills on conceptualizing and modelling architectural, structural and site designs using software specifically designed for these purposes thus, giving them a modern approach in architecture technology.
Consumer Electronics Servicing NC II
This course concentrates on laboratory activities and theory. Thus, manipulation of tools, equipment, project assembly and troubleshooting which are imperative to develop technical knowledge and skills is its main concern. This is to prepare the students for job the accomplishment of their studies.



Contact Center Services NC II
Contact Center Services NCII Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to interact with customers to provide information about products and services. It also covers handling of customer's complaints, inbound customer service, order taking and inquiry response handling, and outbound telemarketing.

Commercial Cooking NC II

The Commercial Cooking NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to clean kitchen areas, cook hot and cold meals, and prepare, portion and plate meat/food to guests in hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs, canteens, resorts and luxury lines/cruises.



Food and Beverage Services NC II
The Food and Beverage Services NCII Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to provide food and beverage services to guests in hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs, canteens, resorts and luxury liners. This qualification is packaged from the competency map of the tourism sector (hotel and restaurant).
Dressmaking NC II

Dressmaking NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to enable him/her to draft and cut pattern: lay-out pattern on the material/fabric, sew material/fabric and apply finishing touches on the Garment sector. Casual Apparel consists of casual dress, blouse, skirt, trouser, shorts and culottes.

Housekeeping NC II

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude in Housekeeping specifically it covers, to provide housekeeping services to guest, prepare room for guest, clean premises, provide valet service, launder linen and guest clothes.
